QUALITATIVE AND COMPARATIVE METHODS

Ernst Halbmayer bringt insbesondere seine methodisch interdisziplinären
und komparativen Kenntnisse in den Forschungsschwerpunkt "Lokale
Identitäten und überlokale Einflüsse" ein.
Er beschäftigt sich mit der Entwicklung qualitativer Methoden
und hat im Schnittfeld der Geschichts- und Sozialwissenschaftlicher
Methoden an einer ersten Zusammenstellung der kulturanthropologischen
Methoden im FSP gearbeitet.
Ziel dieser Vorarbeiten ist die Entwicklung einer qualitativen
komparativen Mehrebenenanalyse, die eine systematische transkulturell
vergleichende Evaluation überlokaler Einflüsse auf
lokale Dynamiken ermöglicht.
